UDPATE: Will Walker was in remission for almost 10 months. He spent Christmas at home and was recovering from his ICU visit. Unfortunately he went back to Huntsville Hospital with what seemed like a viral infection, but in fact, his cancer came back. He has returned to Memphis to undergo more chemo therapy and will soon have a bone marrow transplant.

UDPATE: She had her bonemarrow transplant back in August. She went through some painful recovery, but after 9 months of post transplant she's doing remarkably well. "Catherine's recovery is going quite well and she is now more than 9 months post transplant. She is happy and feeling great but has a way to go before her immune system is normal. She did complete 3rd grade. The doctor has assured us she will be able to start 4th grade in school in August." She's looking forward to seeing her friends again and is already signed up for a season of soccer! |
